My son felt bad for me since my entire season was cancelled, so he arranged for me to take some photos at Fearless MMA (where he trains). I didn't want to use a flash, so my ISO was cranked up and I shot through the fencing when they were in the cage.
The deer in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks have very little fear of humans since hunting is illegal. Later on the trek, I tested the fearlessness and was able to get so close to one doe that I could have pet it.

This photo is the most compelling I've ever seen of me. It captures the moment in time perfectly. Thanks to Michael Livshin I will have something to remember the greatest moment in my life.

Bắt đầu đếm ngược những ngày cuối năm, bắt đầu nhìn lại những mùa đã đi qua.
Ta đã lớn hơn 1 tí, chững chạc hơn 1 tí và trầm lắng hơn 1 tí.
Có những thứ đã làm được và những thứ chưa nhưng những kỉ niệm thì dần đắp đầy trong lòng. Mùa đi qua, ta có thêm nhiều bạn bè, nhiều sự chia sẻ, nhiều lời động viên.
Và ta biết những mùa đang tới sẽ để lại trong ta nhiều hơn nữa.
Ai đó bảo rằng “Nếu không để tốt hơn ngày hôm nay thì có lí do nào để ngày mai tồn tại”.
Một ngày mai nào đó, ta sẽ lại hướng đôi mắt nhìn về quá khứ và thấy ta của ngày hôm nay đang ôm những kỉ niệm còn lại về những mùa đã xa trải đầy trong trang viết.
Một ngày nào đó, khi ta đã bị cuốn theo những guồng quay của cuộc sống thì biết đâu trang viết này sẽ kéo ta ở lại, để ta lại được là chính mình, để ta sống tốt hơn, chân thành hơn, bao dung hơn.
Đông rồi đấy, một mùa nữa sắp sửa đi qua. Người có nghe thấy cái lạnh đang ùa về?…

Chica, John's dog, is a fearless little scrambler and the most polite dog I've ever seen begging for food :D
