I edited this pic in Google "Picasa" just some levels, gradient, and soft... for free sotware it give some very good results quickly.
over 90 students were used to make this photo.. the shady area made this photo more difficult as the students wearing dark colors blended in with the background.
BTW. they are spelling out FEARLESS
Love my boy's fearlessness. Obviously I didn't take this one, but had to put it in. Props to my wife Jackie.

Link is not afraid to approach big dogs. Harley belongs to a neighbor - Link likes the big guy. The other two wait to see if Link is going to be eaten before even thinking about approaching.
I found this bird perched on my tire when I left work and thought, "There's a picture!" Of course, I fully expected him to spook and fly away as soon as I turned on the camera, or got within 20 feet of the car. Nope, he stayed right there through six shots, some with the flash. He wasn't scared away by my opening or closing the car door, starting the engine or even putting the car in gear! When I started to back up, very slowly, he just walked along the tread to stay on top of the tire! He didn't hop off until I turned the wheel from side to side a few times, and even then he only hopped down to the concrete floor. Owings Mills, MD, July 3, 2012.
I always feel somewhat sorry for zoo animals, though I must say I'm glad for the opportunity to view and photograph them. Once in a great while you see a zoo enclosure that looks like a pretty good habitat for the animal. This wasn't one of those.
I entered "Fearless" and "Cardinal Sins" in the Meaford Juried Art Show. Both where chosen to show and "Fearless" received an Honourable Mention. This is the first art show without photography I've entered, my debut so to speak. Meaford is my hometown so it seems fitting somehow to start there.
These photos have been uploaded for a Melissa Etheridge photo contest. According to the rules, I was not allowed to edit these photos, which goes against every fiber of my photographer's being. Haha. I had such a great time at the concert that I didn't really overtly plan the exposure, etc, of these images. So they aren't 100%, especially un-edited, but they will do! :)
If you summon your courage to challenge something, you'll never be left with regret. How sad it is to spend your life wishing, "If only I'd had a little more courage." Whatever the outcome may be, the important thing is to step forward on the path that you believe is right. President Ikeda
