Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me
And I'm painted black

I haven't challenged myself with Photoshop for a really long time, and felt like doing something different for a change.
This is semi-inspired by Rosie Hardy's earlier work.
I've decided I like this even if no one else will. :)

Fall colors in Vermont were pretty much perfect this year. I took this at dusk at a small pond in the Groton State Forest, with the blues of late evening turning the reds more pink and purple than they appear during the day. Last year at this time I traveled to the ruins of Hildegard von Bingen's first cloister, Disibodenberg, in Germany. It was a wonderful, quiet hike on a perfect fall day.
Saint Hildegard was the earliest female composer whose music is still extant. She lived in this cloister from 1112-1150CE.
