Flight AA25 to Philadelphia had just opened the throttles to begin his take-off when there were several bangs and bursts of flame from the left engine. Take-off aborted, flight cancelled.

Thankfully, this happened right at the start of the take-off run and not 20-30 seconds later.

Failure

I am of your own doing

You invented me

Long ago

You did not come up

With the idea on your own

Your parents actually

Introduced the idea

But you ran with it

Built me up

Made me strong

Until there was no

Getting me to stop

You gave me the power

And sadly

You have always held

The power

To do away with me

But you are of the

Human Race

Always attempting

To be first

To be the top

Silly humans

If only you knew

Life isn't about

Succeeding or failing

It is about loving

And when you love

You always win

Gridded ABR800 just off-camera left for fill on "Failing Student", SB-26 camera right just outside frame to light "Smart Girl" in the second row, SB-26 in softbox camera right as key, 580 EX bounced off ceiling for general room light and fill.

The Satsop Nuclear Power Plant debacle. Plans for this beast started in 1968, approvals and government spending began in '73 and ground breaking in 1977..... By 1983 the plant was 75% finished and costs had sky rocketed while three mile island went China Syndrome. Now this place sits on a lovely hill abandoned. Developers are trying to make a business park out of it. the massive parking lot is now a place to train big rig drivers and it's been a location for Hunger Games and one of the Transformer movies..... Billions of dollars went to these and not a puff of smoke was ever emitted.....

My apologies in advance, but you will be seeing a LOT more of these, it's just too large to encompass in one frame. What a place! Press L and give it a second, this is really cool, so stoked. :-)

After the power failure last night they turn on the lights in sections to prevent overload.

There's nothing here to really nurture the growth except the growing piles of tumbleweed, bones and bird poop. It was gross.

(continued) The gentleman settled on a spot about 25 yards away and sat down in the weeds, presumably thinking he was out of my way, setting up a second shot of the same scene in less than 30 seconds. In failing to communicate, and me trying not to engineer the scene, the fisherman ended up making giving me more that I had hoped for. We exchanged waves as I yelled thank you up to him and we parted ways.

Failure, but the music was great

Definitely an MOT failure - the front number plate is missing...

Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure. - George Edward Woodberry

Freightliner Grey Skoda 90047 failed on a freight at Colchester.Standing in the up yard in front of the PSB.

Following an XPT failure at Yass the previous night, 4827 and 4819 were sent down to Goulburn from Sydenham as a precaution in case of another failure.

They were not required in the end, and are seen running as HL82 LE through Werai, a very unusual sight along the Main South these days.

71000 'Duke of Gloucester' passes Sydney Gardens after heavy rain with Saphos Trains' 'Bath Christmas Market Express' from London Victoria on 9 December, 2025. 57311 was on the rear. After a faultless run down, ‘The Duke’ later developed a technical fault at Bristol East and was declared a failure, the ‘57 hauling the train back to London after a two-hour delay. However, not requiring the booked loco change at Salisbury, the diesel-hauled train reached Victoria just 45 minutes behind schedule.

At a Cobra chemical plant, a BAT has failed from constant usage, and is reported for replacement.

"Reporting a BAT failure at plant number 3, please have a replacement sent."

for 9 months of planning, i expected a lot more. instead its a misrepresentation of what the scene really is. i guess thats what you can expect when its curated by someone who doesnt even live in the state. biggest waste of my time to date. An unfinished collab wall, and so much blank space that could have been utilized by the art other people submitted. being pretentious obviously only makes you lazy.

Thanks to Bonus for being a real human being.

The failure of the visiting Pete Waterman owned Rat before start of service put a severe kink in the gala timetable and this 12.30 Sheringham - Holt was still nearly half an hour late. The former 25 909 had been fixed on Weybourne shed and then run light to Sheringham to take up this service, with J15 564 assisting on the rear as far as Weybourne.

I tried to do an old-school-selfie today, but I sort of failed. This looks like all my other pictures, so uhm yeah, I guess I sort of succeeded? ;) At least I got to experiment again :)

"Failure leaves such a bitter taste in my mouth."

I've been listening to Underoath again.

Well, looks like I didn't stick with my 52 Week as well as I thought. BUT I'm not giving up! I was so over come with the stress of HAVING to upload something every week that my work just become boring and everything started looking the same. Don't get me wrong, I believe everyone has their own style, but I hated everything I was uploading. It just wasn't looking right.

So I took a break, and I actually took a vacation. I went down to Texas for two weeks to visit my family and had a blast. I was not thrilled about going, Texas has never really been my best friend. For the main fact that I hate heat and the bugs. SO MANY FREAKIN' WOOD ROACHES. UGH. But I had the best time. Although I ended up being really homesick the last few days I was there, man, saying goodbye was one of the hardest things I've had to do in a long time. I adore my family and keep close to them as much as possible. My cousin Erin and I (Who just turned 18 today, happy birthday young lady!) have been really close for a long time, she broke me down the day I left. Saying goodbye to her might have been the hardest part.

But I'm back and honestly, I'm not shooting all too much. I'm still kind of on this little break thingy, but the other day I felt like shooting just something so I took this. I feel pretty alright with it. Reminds me of the stuff I use to do when I was like 15. But I still can dig it.

I got to catch bits and pieaces of the Brooke Shaden workshop, my bud Aidan Myers got to be a part of it and I was super happy for him! Just from watching what I was able to catch, man, I felt super inspired. Listening to Brooke talk about what she does made me feel like it's honestly okay to be really weird and to try new things. She is such an inspiration to me.

Anyway, I'm not sure if I wanna count this in my 52 week or not, but for now, here's an image. I have a client shoot tomorrow so hopefully all goes well. Hope anyone that's still around to check out my work is doing great!
