A colorful, majestic faerie kneels down to pick a beautiful, vibrant flower, unaware of the danger that lies ahead... This fiery redhead has green eyes and flowing blue wings. The background is a light yellow for high contrast.
Yeah, it was a little weird at the zoo that day.

I've been working on Holly, she's the faerie of the holly plant. I thought she would be really cute for Christmas. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, and it has healing properties too! I will be writing more about that when she is all finished. ^_^
I got this little faerie as a birthday present from Andrew :)
Taken with my *NEW* 450D :)
No adjustments/enhancements have been made to this image :)
Queen Titantia profers advice to a young woodland sprite at the Texas Renaissance Festival, now celebrating its 36th year in Plantersville, Texas.
Quick sketches in the dark at rehearsal. I don't recall faeries being in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but oh well. :)
This attempt at gesture sketching was done on dark toned paper with prismacolor colored pencils.
Holly Faerie is a OOAK beaded art doll. She is bal-jointed and has 13 points of articulation. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton thread & fiber fill, ahimsa silk thread, and Swarovski pearls. She is about 9 inches tall. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, I posted a little about that on my website, if anyone wants to read it, here is the link: faeriedustdolls.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/holly-faerie/
I had a very special new addition to my tiny resin family arrive yesterday. Isn't she beautiful!
I've had a love affair with this girl since I discovered BJDs, and I couldn't believe my luck when I had the opportunity to adopt her recently.
She is my little faerie, she tells me she is most comfortable in amongst the flowers and the woodlands, but she is happy to be here all the same. I shall have to see what I can do to make her feel at home here.
She hasn't yet whispered her name to me. I think that will come when she truely feels at home, so we shall wait...
Thank you so much Emilie for letting me adopt her! She is just wonderful :)

The legacy of faeries has been alive at Minnetrista for over 100 years. Read the books and explore the gardens that inspired Elisabeth "Betty" Ball's faerie poetry. This bag includes all the tools you'll need to find faeries across campus and log your sightings. While you're here, don a crown, scout out faerie rings, send a note by Faerie Post!
Finally got some pics of my Amethyst Faerie, I just finished her hair a couple of hours ago. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton, and real amethyst beads for her ball-joints. Now she just needs a dress!
Danny put my "Faerie Guide" painting on a skateboard deck- now avilaible for collecting or riding.

A new idea for a little mini series; Coffee Faeries. Not quite sure what I'll do with it, but this is character (or faerie) #1!
She turned out SO AMAZING.. hahaha. It's been a while since I did TRY to draw; usually it's just scribbles like that other page there, where I was deciding how I wanted to draw her hand holding the coffee ^^
What do you think? She's quite cute huh? :)
If I do draw anything out of this, it'll likely be one page short drawing/stories. Something simple, ya know? I might throw in some japanese practice.. like having a 'customer' order coffee from the coffee faerie! or something :P
