Oh, the bliss of a "fresh" studio... it's like magic! I could sit there all day playing with my ephemera! ^_^

If you venture out on a misty morn there is no telling what surprises are in store...
My thanks to Ben Harris-Roxas for the wonderful source photos.

A colorful, majestic faerie kneels down to pick a beautiful, vibrant flower, unaware of the danger that lies ahead... This fiery redhead has green eyes and flowing blue wings. The background is a light yellow for high contrast.
Yeah, it was a little weird at the zoo that day.

I got this little faerie as a birthday present from Andrew :)
Taken with my *NEW* 450D :)
No adjustments/enhancements have been made to this image :)
I've been working on Holly, she's the faerie of the holly plant. I thought she would be really cute for Christmas. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, and it has healing properties too! I will be writing more about that when she is all finished. ^_^
Queen Titantia profers advice to a young woodland sprite at the Texas Renaissance Festival, now celebrating its 36th year in Plantersville, Texas.
Finally got some pics of my Amethyst Faerie, I just finished her hair a couple of hours ago. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton, and real amethyst beads for her ball-joints. Now she just needs a dress!
At this point, Fin started to become a little cranky. I think it was a bit much for him...yesterday a birthday party and today a very playful 5 month old his size!
Quick sketches in the dark at rehearsal. I don't recall faeries being in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but oh well. :)
This attempt at gesture sketching was done on dark toned paper with prismacolor colored pencils.
Holly Faerie is a OOAK beaded art doll. She is bal-jointed and has 13 points of articulation. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton thread & fiber fill, ahimsa silk thread, and Swarovski pearls. She is about 9 inches tall. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, I posted a little about that on my website, if anyone wants to read it, here is the link: faeriedustdolls.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/holly-faerie/
