The 2016 Faculty Exhibition features the creative explorations of Visual Arts Faculty and Artists in Residence at North Dakota State University. The Professional Practicing Artists from the Visual Arts Department are continually researching and developing their craft to contribute to the contemporary art discussion through publication and exhibition. This exhibit features these artists’ newest visual artworks in sculpture, painting, ceramics, printmaking, photography and mixed media.
This years exhibition features new and recent works by Kimble Bromley, Eric Johnson, Kent Kapplinger, Aaron Kirchhoff, Meghan Kirkwood, Tim Lamey, Michael Strand, Andrew Stark, David Swenson, Sarah Tancred and Malcolm Thompson
Today, the Faculty of Law and Political Science (FLP) held a ceremony to mark the final day of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (Human Rights Day). The event, supported by @USAID in partnership with @TheAsiaFoundationinLaos, included a panel discussion about challenges to accessing justice for Gender-Based Violence victims in Laos, featuring input from various experts including lawyers and women's rights advocates. There was also a role-play by the FLP students to help raise awareness about the justice issues faced by women and child victims of violence at the village level.

SD EPSCoR hosted more than 180 students from public, private and tribal colleges and universities at the fourth annual Undergraduate Research Symposium August 3, 2017. The symposium provided undergraduate students real-life experience presenting their research to the public, networking with other students, faculty and industry experts to learn more about further education and employment opportunities following graduation.
