A big one to visit on our list and after some fun and games accessing in the dead of night, we were successful.
This asylum was built at the end of the 19th century. It was initially used as a hospital for mentally ill patients and later it was used as a military academy. This location held the equipment where people were treated with ECT and operations to the nervous system.
The asylum closed it's doors in the end of the 20th century when there were laws passed that deemed that asylums had to close their doors.

Strobist info: One Nissin Di622 with small softbox positioned back left facing flower at 45 degrees. Small mirror positioned bottom right opposite flash. Flower was positioned inside a small light tent with blue card pegged up as a background. Flash was fired using Yongnuo YN 04 ii radio triggers.
Swimmer [body-surfer] faces the crush of a crashing wave on a big surf day on the west shore of Oahu - Hawaiian Islands.
This is an "oldie" (4 y.o.), but since I haven't been doing anything worth posting, I guess it will have to do. By the way, I have a hunch, whoever the couple was, they're not together anymore...
As a child growing up in Sheffield in the late 70's/early 80's, this was once Sheffield's number one toy shop.
Running an additional service to support Social-distancing during the current Government Public Health Orders, C3606 leads set C8 and C5 on train number 845A to the City Circle via the T8 Line & Sydenham.
The small C set fleet of trains are currently the target of replacement by 17 additional 8 car B set trains entering service. The K set stock will follow straight away after. The current order of B sets will replace all C and K set rosters, but some K sets will be kept as back up until future fleet changes settle in.

I graduated in 2006; my graduation present was my first digital compact camera, a Lumix FX-01. It was, as such things went, an excellent little camera, and brought me a lot of pleasure. Whilst walking on the beach, I spotted these two crabs shells, facing one another. And here they are, fourteen years later.

The underground type A3 L92.2 number 579 is running on the U3 line, which connects the south-western suburbs of the capital with the eastern part of the centre. The U3 line, 19.7 km long and with 24 stations, has as its terminus Krumme Lanke in the west and Warschauer Strasse in the east. The U3 line has the special feature of being mainly outside, with the exception of the section between the Podbielskialle stop and Gleisdreiek. The outdoor part, in the city centre, runs on elevated bridges along the streets of the Friedrichshein and Kreuzberg districts. The other, open-air part runs through the districts of Dahlem and Zehlenodorf at a lower level than the street, past the Freie Universität.
The Berlin underground is divided into two, one with a small profile (Kleinprofil) and the other with a large profile (Grossprofil). The lines U1, U2, U3 and U4 are small profile, the remaining U5, U6, U7, U8 and U9 large profile. Both systems have the same normal gauge of 1435 mm, the main difference being in the profile size. In addition, both profiles are powered by a third side rail at 750 V DC; the difference, however, lies in the way the current is transmitted from the third rail to the train. In fact, in the small profile the train slider makes contact with the upper part of the rail, while in the large profile the contact is made in the lower part of the third rail. The third rail is the positive pole in the small profile, while in the large profile it is the negative pole. The type A3 L92 underground railway, was built to replace the type Gl, between 1993 and 1995 by ABB Henschel, AEG, O&K, Siemens and WU.
