I’m a bad, perverted girl, I know it, and I’m not ashamed of it.
Once I did a Thomas faceup commission for a customer, and I liked the result so much that I wanted a similar doll for myself. Of course, I did some alterations to faceup, like adding freckles, doing a deeper blush and changing a thing here and there…
He’s called “baby Hiddles”. Just because he’s so kawaii.
And that’s not a kilt. That’s a skirt. Just because I can. Sorry Hiddles))
The whole set took a lot of time to make, especially the curled wig. I’s my first curled wig, and it was very hard to glue the curls to the wig cap, because they sprang out and I had to press them until the glue dries out. More, I messed with the first version, making curls too thick and short, so I had to tear all the hairs out and to redo them completely.
I hoped to find a shoes of a certain design in BJD sites but despite of all the similar designs I couldn’t find anything, so I ended up making them.
I think it's safe to say my faceup ability has improved over the past 2+ years. XD Thank goodness. ^_^'
Finally gave this gorgeous guy a face. He is in oriental skin and definitely a stand-out doll in my collection. I love all of his features, as you will soon see he did already get some extensive camera time. :)
A fantasy-like face-up for a good friend of mine. She made the mock-up for me. She has some very original ideas if it comes to face-up and doll characters ^^

Elin is my second try at doing my own faceups. I've decided to call her Elodie which is one of my favourite names.
I really enjoyed painting this exquisitely beautiful and realistic little girl. Iplehouse is doing an amazing job with their new BID line!
I also love the cute and high quality outfits Iplehouse is making to go with the BID's. This little set has silk ribbon embroidery!
I'm currently trying to teach myself how to do faceups...here's my most recent attempt :)

Done with Acrylic paints, sealed with Mr Super Clear spray and finished with a light gloss on the lips and around the eyes.

Robert has gotten a lot of special treatment lately and I'm very glad! I was afraid he was going to end up giving me the same feelings as my Iplehouse Carina did.
But, alas, he worked his way into my heart and finally I can say; I am proud of him!
This is the finalized faceup for my Soom Sabik, Magat.
I want to say this is my first faceup, but I redid the eyebrows and added freckles so this is 1.5.
