My friend, Caitlin (also seen here), asked me to take pictures of her after she painted her face for Halloween. Here's the result!
His face tells me he's scared confused and alone.. His face tells me life sucks but I'm still here.. His face tells me his mind is wasting away.. Slowly fading. His face tells me help me get back to my life.. His face said so much.. I love his face. His face helps me smile,cry, think and worry.. This face belongs to my Dad.. LaF

Place Saint-Eloi
Place piétonnière pavé située dans le cœur historique de la ville d'Angers. Située devant le Musée des beaux-arts, elle sert aussi de place pour la tour Saint-Aubin.

More in the before/after series. Substantial edits to this one. I focused on the lighting pretty much exclusively because I like what it did to her face, made it glow. I figured I could accentuate that nicely.
What I did on Potochop:
Duplicate the base layer and set the master opacity to multiple.
I masked her face mostly out - I just wanted to darken the rest of the photo.
Then I added gaussian blur filter at 8px to the layer.
Duplicate the duplicated layer. This I'll use to add the faint glow.
So, upped the brightness to like +87.
Then deleted the copied layer mask and added a new on set. Dumped black paint on the layer mask to remove the whole thing. Then I very, very lightly masked in her face on the uber-blur layer.
Then I copied the base layer and burned the hell out of everything on the left part of the photo. I didn't want the shapes to be so distinct.
Flatten the layers. Set the bit-depth to 8 and added variation adjustments. I'm not sure the exact clicks but lots of yellows in the midtone and blue in the shadow.
Lastly, I added a very light bronze photo filter (opacity of 70) layer to warm it up.
Et, voila.
When I make my steampunk pendants I have a lot of left over parts. Instead of just throwing it all out I try to find things to make out of the pieces and these beautiful pendants were one thing I came up with. Made from the entrie case of an old watch (backs are stainless steel), the inside is then painted, and then loose genuine rough diamonds placed inside (about .50 carat weight in each one, some have a little more, some have a little less). Different light gives different looks as all paint except for the one in #8 is metalic. The bail of each is made from bead wire. Some diamonds are stationary and some move freely giving it a really unique look with each move. When you pick your pendant (or pendants) please message me the number that correspondes with the one(s) you want. (If you choose a larger pendant please message me first so I can change the price as you will see the smaller ones are $15 each and larger are $18 each)
