This girl wanted something fancy.

This kid's art was beautiful, very tribal and not overdone. The photo doesn't do it justice.

while the toddler fingerpainted, i sat here with a headache and a slipping heart and an urge to do something.

 

now i know why this is so popular online. it's really fun to paint on your face.

Face painting is very popular with the kids at the Philadelphia Zoo.

This little girl was quite striking looking. Loved the way the paint matched her top and lovely blue eyes.

The symbol for the face paint is lost identity.

I took myself up onto the Royal Mile to sample the "Festival". Edinburgh is such a wonderful place at this time of year. It's like a big Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory of Photographer's Delights. There's so much to try and fit in, and I only get an hour for lunch!!!

Shot with the Tokina 12-24 at 24mm. Interestingly, this is one of my favorite shots while I used this lens this weekend and it's at the longest end. Go figure.
