Curlybright is a bendy burlesque beauty who I met in pole class. She now lives in Canada but, work with her when you get the chance.

This girl looks awfully calm after waiting 4 hours to get in this face-painting artist's chair. Street-performers and artists from all over the world descend on Shizuoka City for a few days every November for the World Street Performers' Competition (or Daidogei, in Japanese).

Kim, the woman who works here, is really good. I'm glad they gave her work space a face lift.

I scanned a bunch of old pics a couple of days ago, hence the onslaught of old, random photos.

This is the coolest kind of facepainting ever: airbrush. This is 1990 and my friend Erin and I had been at the Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival, which is a fun art fest that runs most of the second half of summer.
