A little drunk when this happened so forgive the improper photo-op :-X A fun airbrushed facepainting done at my cousins bar mitzvah. Okay if anyone asks you what you want to have done.... never.... NEVER... say "Have fun, just do what you want to do." Guaranteed disaster :-P But it was still an awesome job that turned heads and gave me a neat tie dyed pillowcase ;-)
This was just a still picture taken from a video, so please don't criticize ze grain :-P

The Carnavale in Venice is a must see sight for photographers and tourists alike - it is simply amazing. Many people work on elaborate costumes all year, some show up in quirky outfits, and others get their faces painted. I was fascinated watching the painters at work - they are true artists and do amazing work. There are usually a lot of face painters right by the train station but you can find them all over Venice - wow - what a visual treat! I was in Venice for most of the Carnavale this year - what a blast!
