I took myself up onto the Royal Mile to sample the "Festival". Edinburgh is such a wonderful place at this time of year. It's like a big Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory of Photographer's Delights. There's so much to try and fit in, and I only get an hour for lunch!!!

This girl looks awfully calm after waiting 4 hours to get in this face-painting artist's chair. Street-performers and artists from all over the world descend on Shizuoka City for a few days every November for the World Street Performers' Competition (or Daidogei, in Japanese).

Kim, the woman who works here, is really good. I'm glad they gave her work space a face lift.
