To be honest, with a few exceptions, the street art that that I came across while in Limerick last week was not exciting and much of it has been around for a number of years.
The innocence of kids can be seen in their eyes..... Their expressions can tell thousands words without speech....
Dolores María Pérez Pérez, Colectiva Malacate, Mexico, speaks at the panel discussion entitled “Five of Five Thousand – Testimonials on the Value of Cultural Heritage in Clothing”, during the High-Level Dialogue on Indigenous Peoples, Traditional Cultural Expressions and Fashion held at WIPO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, on November 2, 2023.
The dialogue provided an opportunity for the exchange of ideas and the sharing of best practices, with the aim of connecting people, increasing mutual understanding, building relationships and exploring forward-looking ways to facilitate collaborations between Indigenous Peoples and fashion companies.

There was a dog right beside her she was playing with at the park, you can't see it, but it is right by her leg. She wants a dog so badly....

I'm not entirely certain what the message on the back of this van has to do with the artwork on the side of the van. Hmmm...I don't see the connection.
Anyway, I appreciated the sentiment and overarching philosophy, so I had to capture it quickly and share it with y'all.
And then, I recalled these lyrics from the track 'Git Up, Git Out' (1994) by OutKast (feat. Goodie Mob) off of their 1994 album 'Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik'.
"[...] you need to git up git out and git somethin
Don't let the days of your life pass by
You need to git up git out and git somethin
Don't spend all your time tryin to get high
You need git up git out and git somethin
How will you make it if you never even try
You need to git up git out and git somethin
Cuz you and I got to do for you and I"
So, get up, get out, get something and live for it.
You just might create shock waves and inspire others to do the same around you. The positive effects of doing positive things with your own energy are quite astounding. Keep on pushing!
