my boy"s pup

ils are growing bigger while he is looking hard at his food,he waited patiently though, for once ;-)

Babies are so darn cute. Taken at a recent iftar (breaking fast together with others) at a friend's house. About 10 more days of Ramadan my friends! Eid is coming.

Landon has the best expressions...

A couple of weekends ago now, I took a trip down to Devon to see my cousin, her partner and their fairly recent baby, Betty.

Betty is now about 21 months old or so, and is an absolute delight. She's so well behaved, funny in both behaviour and sense of humour (she has her own jokes already!), and just a joy to be around. I've never spent much time around babies and small children as an adult, so I suppose it was a new experience for me as well as her, and now I'm wondering if she's even influenced my opinions on having children!

My little second cousin is literally just the best thing ever. I can't wait to see her again.

Why is it so easy to express how we feel about something yet we keep other thoughts and feelings locked deep inside our hearts?

Their expressions in this picture are priceless.

The subject of this photo is my friend Lynn. =) I chose it as my best shot because it is the clearest and most expressive, to me. The background was easily erased out to bring the focus to her. Her face clearly says, "OH NO SHE DI'NT!" or "NAW-AH!" or similar phrases for someone in surprise and disbelief.

If I were to shoot again for this theme, I would try to find more willing models to take photos of. Most of my friends kept trying to hide from the pictures, make funny faces, or photobomb them. I had to rely almost solely on candid shots.

#WeWillNotBeSilent, a joint Adalah and Baladna project funded by the European Union, aims to protect and promote the freedom of expression (FOE) of Arab Palestinian youth in Israel. The project works to empower young Arab women and men with trainings and educational tools to fully exercise their FOE rights, including youths who are involved in political and social activism, formal and informal youth groups, and social media advocacy. It also seeks to defend Arab youth by providing legal representation against violations of their FOE rights in Israel, and by conducting media advocacy to Arabic, Hebrew and foreign media outlets to raise local and international awareness about their rights-violations.

Jeremy Davis and friends look over his ceramic piece, "Pain/Anger."

Spent the day at Islands of Adventure capturing the expressions of people on the water rides. Always love seeing the joy or shock of the riders as they travel around the course........Hope you enjoy too!

Another funny expression from my girl. (And her face is STILL dirty.. go figure) She seems to be conveying that the light is too bright, lol.
