The Northern Skies of Northern Wisconsin exploded with amazing and spectacular colors. One of the best displays I've ever seen. A solar wind stream produced these stunning skies during the late hours of September 1 2016 into the early hours of September 2 2016. Crivitz, Wisconsin. The Milky Way also was very bright and visible..

Nice day out in Manchester and Salford to see the Imperial War Museum North and the Lowry Gallery.

One of the explosive bolts that held the solid rocket boosters of the space shuttle to the ground. Once a predetermined force from the rocket motors was attained, a command would be sent to the charges in the ring to detonate and free the shuttle for launch.
