We decided to replicate the Mythbusters experiment of dropping five metos candies into a 2-litre of diet coke...it was a major success.
what else is there? Röyksopp
It was me on that road
But you couldn't see me
Too many lights out, but nowhere near here
It was me on that road
Still you couldn't see me
And then flashlights and explosions
Roads end getting nearer
We cover distance but not together
I am the storm I am the wonder
And the flashlights nightmares
And sudden explosions
Not best pleased with this, only second time I have tried, and thats making the explosion or explosions out of my pics of clouds then colourize them and change layer styles.
Although I can see how it can work great I just need abit more practice...
But am posting so I can see for myself as well as You after practice what can actually be achieved with really a simple but great idea.
I mean after all an explosion is just gas albeit explosive gas lol and the pics of clouds give you the basis of a gas...Does that make sense?
Here's a wild one! I'm still playing with the 'visualizer' backgrounds...wildly colorful and ridiculous, but they make me happy!
Experiment.
I haven't seen many cool Lego explosions in MOCs on the web, so I thought I'd try my luck at it.
I think it came out well.

I love the sound these make after they explode. Like popcorn but in the sky, and on fire, and bright...
Back in 1998 they were filming a car explosion for Nash Bridges across the street from my office. We waited for about two hours with fingers in shutters to get these shots. And that was back when people actually used film in their cameras. :-)

Zoom burst is a photographic technique, attainable with zoom lenses with a manual zoom ring.
Using the technique involves zooming while the shutter is open with a relatively slow shutter speed, generally below 1/60th of a second. For this reason low light or small apertures are required. It is also possible to achieve a similar effect with either computer software like Adobe Photoshop (after the photo has been shot) or a photographic filter. In these cases the shutter speed can be as fast as necessary.
Photographs taken with this technique are characterized by blurred streaks emanating from the center of the photograph. The effect is nearly identical to a motion blur image in which the camera is traveling towards the subject. For this reason the zoom burst is typically used to create an impression of motion towards the subject.
The term is sometimes attributed to Peter Bargh in his article Creative zoom bursts technique, though the technique is much older, appearing for instance in (Peterson 1990).
