Asclepias mobidick.
This plant can be trained to grow as a small tree. Asclepias fruticosa - African Milkweed aka Family Jewels. This very unusual looking plant is a 'must grow'.

Cerro de los siete Colores. Purmamarca. Jujuy. Argentina.
.
La belleza natural del norte argentino es realmente envidiable, el cerro de siete colores por efecto de la erosión y las diferentes capas geológicas es un espectáculo en si mismo, imperdible.

For the Macro Monday theme "divided". I have always been fascinated how nature is doing this, a little seed, and then the cells divide into such complex entitys. In this case...a multipe divided one...
Terranea Cove
Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
12-24-21
I've taken a lot of photos here. HDR processing is almost always "perfect" when photographing Terranea.
I don't usually like to shoot right into the sun when it's not at least obstructed by the clouds, but this looks almost otherworldly.
The horizon line looks like I pasted one photo on top of another in Photoshop. And while Photoshop is one of the programs I use while processing my HDR images, there is no compositing done here. The waves and the clouds were just lining up perfectly
Be careful!👀 Occasionally there is big wave coming suddenly.
