Myself on top of Melderskin at 1426m, shot by my husband after my settings and instructions ; ) I've always seen this peak from a distance from the island I'm from. It was awesome to finally stand there!
Yes - still looking back at those wonderful 2014 Highlights ♥
We had countless beautiful hikes last year in that awesome weather we had in Norway from the end of March to mid October, including several mountains on my bucketlist like this one.
Now I'll start preparing for today's hike. Finally the sun's back after weeks and months of mostly rain, hail and storms. I look forward to eat our Sunday dinner outside!

Besides the really cool Disney topiaries at the The Flower and Garden Festival, the other thing I always look forward to is the sand sculpture. For the three years, I’ve gone to the Festival, the sculpture has related to Disney Nature films. When I was at Epcot in March for the opening day, they had just started working on this, so it was great to be able to go back and see the finished piece.

Taken on a hiking trip near Lech, Austria.
We just wanted to eat something and found this nice bench, but the cows obviously had a lot of fun with us. We had to flee and go to another bench, but they followed us :-)

The Queen Victoria Building, now affectionately known as the QVB, was designed by George McRae and completed in 1898, replacing the original Sydney markets on the site.
Built as a monument to the long reigning monarch, construction took place in dire times, as Sydney was in a severe recession.
The elaborate Romanesque architecture was specially planned for the grand building so the Government could employ many out-of-work craftsmen - stonemasons, plasterers, and stained window artists - in a worthwhile project.
Originally, a concert hall, coffee shops, offices, showrooms, warehouses and a wide variety of tradespeople, such as tailors, mercers, hairdressers and florists, were accommodated.
