For something different I'd thought that an architectural shot would be a good change up, taken at Crown Casino earlier in the year
A second image that follows a previous upload "Rain in 60 seconds" ok my minute ran out, the darkness of the sky turned into rain almost as the LE exposure was completed, phew, the rest well there's not much shelter on a beach so I got a little moist.
So its finally the weekend, enjoy everyone as it will soon be Monday morning once more

My first attempt at macro flower photography! Needless to say I have somewhat tried to avoid flowers as they are very much the norm and I like to do things a little differently. However fair play to those that do....getting the focus isn't easy!

Having played around with some oil on water my next venture was washing up liquid....how would this look under a macro lens? Needless to say it is interesting, and trying to capture the bigger air bubbles after shaking the bottle is not so easy....you have to be quick!
High tide and another day at the seaside, waves breaking leaving soft light tones, the sky, well is was low cloud cover and they were dark and moody, flat light just the ticket for minimal long exposure photography.
It's the weekend enjoy it but please give a thought to the people of Ukraine who's weekend won't that great.

I was so fortunate to witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of golden hour illuminating the breathtaking Valley of the Ten Peaks and the charming canoe rentals at Moraine Lake. The ethereal light gracefully painted the rugged peaks and caressed the tranquil waters, creating a scene of pure enchantment.
In his own unique style one of Frank Gehry"s buildings.

Monday morning 23rd December 2019 another 6.00am start and the high tide is rising already, perdicted to be 153cm today as I head towards Piazza San Marco the water is rising in places above the platform walkways layed out for these high tides, looks like another wet feet and wet legs day again. After shooting nearby to St Marco Square under difficult conditions it was time to head back to the appartment to dry out before the high tide subsided and things got back to some normality around the streets of Venice but one last image before I put the camera away, a colour image of Piazza San Marco

After waiting for what felt like an age on a cold Sunday in Colchester zoo one of the red Panda Cub's finally turned to face me for a split second.

Walk the Line
Geometry dominates. Rectangles collect colors to help define their existence. Pathways emerge. Light dances from human creations. Perspective is provided - just a bit by people passing through. ICM camouflages and lets imagination fill where altered reality hides specifics.
