💭 في كلِّ رحلةٍ صغيرةٍ تمرُّ في حياتِنا، نكتشفُ جزءًا من أنفسِنا لم نكن نعرفُه من قبل.

💭 In every little journey that passes through our lives, we discover a part of ourselves we never knew before.

Rookery Stairs - I did a bit of research before going to Chicago. I only had a few hours so there was a limit to what I could photograph. I chose a few places within a short walk of where I'd be centered. One of those places was the Rookery, a building redesigned by Frank Lloyd Wright. There are many buildings in Chicago with amazing architecture that can be seen just by walking through the front door BUT the Rookery isn't one of them. A bit of research told me that I'd need to take a tour to get access to this amazing staircase. I have mixed feelings about tours. They can be wonderful, entertaining, and educational - or they can be boring as hell. It just depends on the tour guide. I did learn a bit, but tours do slow me down and insure that I have PLENTY of time to look around for detail shots. Winter Sunset at 13th Beach, Barwon Heads, there's something magical about watching Mother Nature create colourful beauty on the landscape

Mount Rainier National Park, Washington

"Nature is not a place to visit, it is home."

A silhouetted scene sets off a stunning sunset born in the sky and reflected in water. Soft light enhances the shape of clouds and sea. Hot and cool colors provide quiet energy. Spatial relationships are clear amid details of nature and man-made objects.

the force of the waves crashing against the rocks was amazing, I could have watched it for ages, the noise was deafening, however the repeated motion of the waves was calming, almost mesmerising, you have to love the Surf Coast of Victoria, Australia
