Blea Tarn a small lake which nestles in a hanging valley between Great and Little Langdale. Surrounded by Lingmoor Fell, slopes of Pike o’ Blisco and Side Pike.

Heavily retouched (down to individual sand grains in some cases!) to reduce noise and enhance the pattern. Retouching with Touch Retouch by Adva Soft. Recommended.

I love all kind of trees as everyone has its own fingerprint. Look at this pine with its odd form that does not fit into the shape of what I've seen todate. It is as if it would have assimilated to the shape of the prevailing apple trees in the area and therefore has grown more horizontally than vertically.
4 second exposure on Hwy 401 while travelling at 120 km/hr. Don't worry, my wife was driving while I was navigating and looking out ahead for traffic enforcement.
