This was a photo I made as the wife and I explored the southwest corner of Maui on a bright sunny morning. Pretty cool place to visit if you ever find yourself on the islands.
Proving there was still life in the old dog yet, Realtoy applied its new and very modern Police Department livery on to its ancient Ford Explorer casting not many months before the brand was totally swept away at Tesco. This new colour scheme did a decent job of keeping this model looking fresh with its very dark blue hue hiding evidence of cost cutting. Part of a five vehicle Emergency themed set bought back in February 2017. Mint and boxed.
I haven't checked on this in a while and I was shocked to see 7 cakes. YAY!

Grape Hyacinths
The genus Muscari, commonly and collectively known as grape hyacinths, are a group of perennial plants native to Eurasia that produce urn-shaped spikes of dense, most commonly blue, flowers resembling bunches of grapes in the spring. White cultivars also exist.

Captain Charles Napier Sturt (28 April 1795 – 16 June 1869) was a British explorer of Australia, and part of the European exploration of Australia. He led several expeditions into the interior of the continent, starting from both Sydney and later from Adelaide. His expeditions traced several of the westward-flowing rivers, establishing that they all merged into the Murray River. He was searching to determine if there was an "inland sea".

Champ got to go up into the mountains to play in snow today! It was tough getting good pictures of him because all he wanted to do the entire time was eat the snow. More pictures coming soon after I get back from dinner! =]

Two years ago I woke up and had lost use of my left arm, it would only raise to waist level. A year later my right arm, it raised to shoulder level-- no higher. Yesterday was surgery #3 and I'm expecting to be fully back in motion within four weeks--I hope. I really thought I'd rest today, maybe browse a few magazines and watch a little TV (which I rarely do) but I kept hearing this little voice calling me. It just kept calling me and when I looked in my home studio there it was... my Canon...calling my name. Softly and gently it called my name....
I can't bear the weight of it and a lens in my(dominant) right hand yet so I mounted it on a tripod and armed myself with a remote to capture this "simply me" capture. I had to. Why? Because it kept calling me.... And how could I turn it down, I just couldn't......

Having bought literally a whole carton full of the newly introduced Realtoy based Emergency range back on their introduction in Tesco stores back in March 2016 I still have quite a few to upload on here. There weren't many actual different castings in this carton so plenty of duplicates all of which were definitely worth getting including two versions of this Ford Explorer. This casting must now be well over a decade old and shows absolutely no sign of being replaced in the Realtoy range, even this Country Sheriff recolour is some years old. Apart from the bling wheels this has always been a crisp little model which is licensed and thus even after some cost cutting it still has some nice detailing including painted lights and accurate interior. Strangely the red Fire version gets a fully detailed FORD badge whereas this forgoes one unfortunately. Mint and boxed.
