The 2015 Explore@NASAGoddard event, on Sept. 26, celebrated the 25th anniversary of the launch of the Hubble Space Telescope. Investigating everything from black holes to planets around other stars, Hubble has ushered in a new chapter of humanity’s exploration of the universe, and the venerable telescope continues to answer some of the most compelling astronomical questions of our time.
Additionally, all areas of Goddard’s research – Earth science, heliophysics, planetary science, astrophysics, and engineering and technology – were presented, as each discipline plays a critical part in NASA's ongoing journey to reach new heights, reveal the unknown and advance scientific understanding for the benefit of humankind.

A classic within the UE scene. On our 2nd trip through Italy we got the chance to pay her a visit. This villa has one of the most beautiful stairs I have ever seen. Besides the stairs nothing more to see here unfortunately.

Been a few months since I participate in the Single Challenge, time to jump back in, with SMC Pentax-M 50mm f4 Macro. 50mm FOV and close focus, two things I have not been too keen on in photography, this should be fun. I will also be using it as a general purpose lens and see how it works, may do a bit a street with it too, but with a long focus throw and f4 it might be messy...
Anyway, for the first day it's time to explore the 1:2 macro capacity. @f8 I think.

Exploring the grounds and gardens of Cranbrook, an early 1900s estate of the Detroit News founder, George Booth and his wife Ellen Scripps Booth. The sunken gardens were quite nice on this late summer visit.

Yesterday, I went out to a park I've never been to before and it was absolutely gorgeous! I really only stayed in this little section at the beginning of the trail because there was a creek and bridge I couldn't resist, but I'll definitely be going back soon to explore even further.
p.s. I tried changing the color of this dress, but a few specific parts refused to change color, so I settled on keeping it how it is. Does anyone have any tips for how to deal with stubborn areas when color changing? Send me a message if you do!
