Previously converted to Black and White but I prefer the originals subtle colours. I think?

Things to do in the future. 1. Get a true wide angle lens. 2. Use a tripod.

Grape Hyacinths

The genus Muscari, commonly and collectively known as grape hyacinths, are a group of perennial plants native to Eurasia that produce urn-shaped spikes of dense, most commonly blue, flowers resembling bunches of grapes in the spring. White cultivars also exist.

Although commonly found in singles this 2015 edition of the Matchbox 2012 Ford Explorer was also used in their five vehicle sets which appeared on the pegs of ASDA and probably other U.K. retailers in the Christmas period. A decent casting which looks good in Emergency liveries such as this and good enough for various obscure Chinese toy companies to copy it. Mint and boxed.

Tuscany is a region in central Italy with an area of about 23,000 square kilometres (8,900 sq mi) and a population of about 3.8 million inhabitants (2013). The regional capital is Florence (Firenze).

Tuscany is known for its landscapes, traditions, history, artistic legacy and its influence on high culture. It is regarded as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and has been home to many figures influential in the history of art and science, and contains well-known museums such as the Uffizi and the Pitti Palace.

Tuscany produces wines, including Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Morellino di Scansano and Brunello di Montalcino. Having a strong linguistic and cultural identity, it is sometimes considered "a nation within a nation".

Seven Tuscan localities have been designated World Heritage Sites: the historic centre of Florence (1982); the historical centre of Siena (1995); the square of the Cathedral of Pisa (1987); the historical centre of San Gimignano (1990); the historical centre of Pienza (1996); the Val d'Orcia (2004), and Medici Villas and Gardens (2013).

I returned to Tuscany after several years during a prolonged August weekend to explore famous hilltop settlements and enjoy Chianti & Montepulciano red wines.

The rolling landscape of Tuscany offer endless possibilities of finding a perfect view, fine scene, and beautiful atmosphere.

Snapped this image not only because it looked neat with the clouds passing behind and in the reflection of the glass, but because it also looked like what an artist's rendition of the building would look like if created before the building actually went up.

Cool stuff: I entered this into the Metro Global Photo Challenge and it was printed in the Oct. 4th, 2007 edition of the Metro magazine as part of a promotion for the contest .

Between Eugene and the coast, just off Hwy 126, visitors can enjoy picnicking, hiking, and camping at Whittaker Creek. The site offers family camping in a wooded riverside location with a hiking trail that provides access to an old growth stand of Douglas-fir high above the campground. The 2.5 mile Old Growth Ridge Trail was designated in 1994 as a National Recreation Trail due to the exceptional wildlife, geologic features, and old growth trees that are typical of coast range ecosystems. Chinook and coho salmon, as well as steelhead trout can be observed in the fall and winter months in the creek next to the campground. The site also features a paved boat ramp that provides drift boat and canoe access to the Siuslaw River.

RV and Truck Length Limit: 32 feet.
