The Wildlife Drive has been open for a few days at the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge. This sunset photo was on Saturday evening. The two eagles were either tidying up or adding on to their already expansive home.
Last weeks weather was gloomy and over cast, Friday was no different. We had snow showers in the morning that day and I though the rest of the day would be just as depressing. Finally the sun came out and we got some clouds! I had been waiting for this moment for a long time. Went out as soon as I got a chance and got this classic shot of the Minneapolis skyline. The clouds were gone well before sunset.
