Northern Lights show in Minnesota last night! What an amazing sight to see subhan'Allah! It was my first time seeing this in person and it was one great experience! The storm was strong enough to be seen in the cities but we still drove an hour north of the cities to get out of most of the light pollution and enjoy it. So worth it! This was in Lindstrom, MN.

This was taken on Horse Lake in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Minnesota around 4:30 am. This was my first time ever seeing and photographing the northern lights. I was lucky enough to see them two nights in a row.
Double-crested cormorants are silhouetted against the sunset at the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge.
Thursday April 21st 2016 marks the passing of an icon. Prince.

Missing the bright northern night sky this evening. I put together this composite image from several shots taken during a star trail time-lapse I shot in Minnesota this past February.
The sky was filled with color in this shot taken from Mounds Parkway on Dayton's Bluff just downstream from downtown St. Paul.
Thursday April 21st 2016 marks the passing of an icon. The iconic I-35W bridge was lit purple in remembrance.
