Another enjoyable winter day! And, on a weekend too! I really enjoyed hanging out with these two beautiful birds earlier this morning.
With rubber smiles stretched wider than the truth,
And painted woes that mock eternal youth,
One sports big ears, a listener to dread,
While others glare, from hollows in the head.
Beneath these visages, what souls reside?
Perhaps a party planning, gone awry inside.
Or just three friends, who thought it quite the jest,
To banish sleep from anyone distressed.
They wait, they watch, in silent, stark display,
A creepy caucus, come what horror may.
So dim the lights, and check beneath your bed,
Lest these delightful pranksters fill your head!
