There were the most intriguing tracks on this sandbar (I think Randal maybe got a good picture). I thought it might be a crocodile. I asked our tour guide Khalid. He said he was pretty sure it was a bird. First of all, there was no imprint for a tail dragging behind the feet. Uh, yeah. Right.
On Jun. 15, students attending the various classes at Exploration Academy at Blalack Middle School experienced learning in fun new ways. The Science WOW! class did an experiment with dry ice and bubbles, documenting their findings. The Tabula Digital class learned math concepts in first-person video games. In A Taste of the World, students created and sampled dishes from around the globe and at the end of the summer, will leave with a book of recipes. Other students worked in clay, colored dominos, and work in various art mediums.

Leea's English group having been exploring space last term.
Their project took them on a journey of alien inventions and researching the different planets of our solar system.
The children worked extremely hard to create factfiles about the different planets. Along side this, they took their creativity into the radio station to create recording to play inside the spaceship they created with Jeff.
The children shone in the radio station, creating a recording to inform and share their learning.
