Hello everyone, I apologize for not being around much lately, I try to catch up when I have the free time. I haven't had much time to shoot lately, mostly only in class. Heather and I are now shooting for bTwisted jewelry and we've been busy buying equipment and setting up our new home studio/ moving furniture/ cleaning out junk.

Exploding Mines. Viareggio, Italy, 1944 - A huge blast of smoke and sand shoots skyward as large anti-tank mines are exploded on the beach at Viareggio, Italy, by the Engineers of the 92nd (Negro) Division. Mines were planted by Germans fearing an invasion from the sea. More than a hundred mines were exploded in this manner. ... USA ...

The zoom blur here was not done in post. Instead, I tried to do something with the camera for a change. Turns out they have these things called zoom lenses --- remarkable, really.

A pale horse positively explodes out of its enclosure during the start of it's turn in the rodeo. The energy level of some of these animals was amazing. Some of the action at the Rodeo at the Lismore North Coast National Show. 2011
Double exposure on the Holga. This reminds me of the game Lemmings, and when you'd nuke them and their heads would blow off. Great game!
