OK, once my new camera is ready, I should have like a bazillion of these on a poster in no time. Right? Doesn't it make you a better photographer? I think there's actually a free picture-taker expert in the kit I got.

And doesn't Explore prove you're a great photographer? (Please note my sarcasm in both places.)

My Wolfgang Puck Dutch Oven, my favorite pot, had an explosion. I was sauteing some onions and peppers when there was loud bang followed by a second and food went flying. I rinsed the pot out and found that the enamel had blown off the bottom - all I can figure is that small holes in the enamel must have left moisture seepinand when it got hot it had a steamexplosion. I have had that pot for 8 years - oh well, time to look for new favorite.

The colour reminds me of the first flowers of spring.

Exploding fist bumps are funny!

Even at low tide, explosive waves continue to hammer the rock shelves south of Burning Palms Beach in the grand and beautiful Royal National Park, just an hour's drive from the Sydney CBD.

I ran out of time so I had to rush this. For FGR: Exploding Dog.

Isn't this cute? A garbanzo bean, exploding into a heart and being in this position, just perfectly, after being dumped randomly into a bowl with no ceremony. Serendipity! <3 Totally vegan, by the way!

I was driving home yesterday when I saw this in the field. It had rained really badly, but there were some clouds left in the sky. The sun was shining really bright behind the clouds and it resulted in these awesome sun rays. I was like I HAVE to shoot this. Even my mom recognized the awesomeness of this shot so she drove back a bit so that I could take this shot. I must say that I had hoped for it to be a better shot, but in the end I still like it a lot :)

Actually it's an HDR from three exposure created using the auto exposure bracketing.

I had a fan request a tutorial for Jeremy Shafer's Exploding Envelope. I usually don't like teaching others' designs, but I had fun with this tutorial, especially at the end.

I made some firecrackers with some homemade black powder and needed a test subject. Henry was a willing and cheerful volunteer. The biggest problem I had was the residual smoke from the fuse, so I'm working on an electronic trigger to set off the black powder.
