This view of milkweed seeds reminds me of some of Chesley Bonestell's illustrations on the covers of "Astounding Science Fiction" in the 1950s.

I hope you like this. I had a lot of fun photographing it

I was just playing around with my new camera, trying some possibilities my previous camera didn't have. And this is the result.

Yes, the christmas tree is still here. I guess I have to take it away this week, but it's still so lovely. And still a perfect subject for pictures!

To get this effect, I took a picture while zooming out. I kept the focus on the star in the middle to increase the effect!

For one of my projects i did Rayograms/Photograms in the darkroom, using odd objects that i found around college i created these photos.

DVD's and water...

Watching a nusiannse beaver dam being blown up.

Exploring the central portion of a flower with the use of brush marks, oil paint filter and saturated colour. I used Bas Relief to thicken the brush marks too.

threatening (not really) to light a fire under our hens if they don't start laying a little more. we're gettting only about 60 eggs each day from 119 hens and it's midsummer for goodness sakes! twilight stretches from about 4 am to well after 10 pm right now. you'd think we wouldn't have to have additional lights on in the coops, but we do, to encourage them to lay.

One of the test shots while dialing in my strobe timing. This one was very late, giving the top part of the card enough time to flip almost completely over.
