ROCKTROPOLIS is a progressive rock band that is like a volcano ready to explode upon your ears. Members include guitarist ROCKTROPOLIS, Bassist and Keyboardist Sam Metropoulos and Drummer Marc Stemmler. Influences are Dream Theater, Rush, Yngwie, Yes, Deep Purple and Iron Maiden to name a few. Guitarist ROCKTROPOLIS has worked with The Process, Gabe Gonzalez (George Clinton) and former drummer John Macaluso (Yngwie Malmsteen, ARK and VOX). Multi instrumentalist Sam Metropoulos has collaborated on several albums with The Process, played with John Macaluso and has opened for Yngwie Malmsteen. A gorgeous , really rapid fire Aurora a couple nights back.

Early in the evening the lights were pretty impressive ... Tired of the boring foreground around my cabin here, I drove down to the partly ice free Yukon River near the Marsh Lake bridge ... but , of course, at that time the lights became quiet .... Later, the lights really went wild, but by this time, I had no more gas ..

A massive, spiral shaped cloud "explodes" and catches the last rays of sunlight as it floats over Jeju Island's famous coastal road.

This was an art-installation at the museum "Centrum Kunstlicht in de Kunst" in Eindhoven. It's all about artificial light and lamps. This installation had a rotating circle with moving mirrors and a spotlight. It constantly changed form.

Sorry, but I forgot to remember the name of the artist ...
