I shot this thunderstorm as the sun was setting. The tops starting glowing giving the impression of a massive explosion.

A gorgeous , really rapid fire Aurora a couple nights back.
Early in the evening the lights were pretty impressive ... Tired of the boring foreground around my cabin here, I drove down to the partly ice free Yukon River near the Marsh Lake bridge ... but , of course, at that time the lights became quiet .... Later, the lights really went wild, but by this time, I had no more gas ..
Interesting cloud formations appeared yesterday. They were somehow fat and it looked like they would explode anytime.

Hello everyone, I apologize for not being around much lately, I try to catch up when I have the free time. I haven't had much time to shoot lately, mostly only in class. Heather and I are now shooting for bTwisted jewelry and we've been busy buying equipment and setting up our new home studio/ moving furniture/ cleaning out junk.
