Workshop G All you can see 180゜sketching by Lapin

This one needs to be explained. A buddy posted as his status awhile back (like 2 years) something like:

"I swear my milk turned so bad that when I took the lid off it said, 'I will cut you...' "

I thought that would be something funny to illustrate. So, I tried to create some refrigerator drama. I wanted the milk to be in a dark corner. I thought that it could be accompanied by jalapenos and onions. I hoped that the other few things looked like they might be cowering back. I'm not sure if that translates... But oh well. :D

I've been working on a light stencil for quite some time. A milk carton is not as opaque as I thought that it would be. I wasn't able to do the image in camera as with other photos. This is a composite of exposures... The milk carton did get tweaked a bit to fix a few things that I wasn't able to craft.

This is short introduction of mine.

Before you start saying, "jeez, this guy is such a narcissist," I have a perfectly good explanation. I had nothing to do this weekend. It was heavenly. What better way to spend an idle day than experimenting with light! The trouble was: I had no models. So it was me or the vacuum cleaner, and I think I have better features. Perhaps that part is narcissistic. I was experimenting with split lighting and this one turned out okay.
