Here's Bob Victor explaining a point to another passenger as the sun rose - after another night of observing. He's a mostly retired astronomer who worked at the Abrams planetarium of Michigan State U. for thirty years and is a whiz with binocular observing. He prepared extremely carefully for observing the southern hemisphere skies on this trip and was incredibly generous with his time, expertise and resources. He prepared sky maps and calendars to share with anyone interested.
"And if you come over here, this is where the fish are, because I saw bubbles, and bugs, I saw BUGS and fish definitely like bugs AND BUBBLES, fish make BUBBLES and that's how you know where they are so FOLLOW ME OVER HERE MOM because this is where the fish are!"
this one is different to explain. so let me try. this one is when your alone, in the dark, or even surrounded by people but feel completely alone, you can always see the light in life. is there anything i can do to improve this?
A dangerous temptation.
Can anybody explain why I like this thing? I want it, I need it, I can see it in pride of place on the chest of drawers.
I am also very frightened. What strange desires lurk in my psyche? How can I fight this urge? Save me!!!
