So i went out to the bar with a little social experiment. Walk in and hand out a few disposable cameras, then collect them when they are empty. Here are the results. I just thought was wondering what i would find on these rolls of film. I think one of the most rewarding thing about it was just watching all these people interacting and be willing to have their pictures taken with random strangers, by random strangers.

End of my little experiment on materials and how they fade over time

Overview of the sedimentation experiment ;-)

canyon acting as a point source for sediment at the back, canyon mouth and mouthbar dominated by rippled fine sand in the front.

My flat behind all of it....

The results show that the products I got were not what I wanted. My best guess is that the plasmid is uncut PKT102.

"I'm starting to see how I could take the collages from below and make them into a 3D sculpture. I'm intrigued by the use of light and wish to experiment with it more as a medium. Unlike in my film, I am isolating the idea of reflection. Inside the glass jar I have layered acetate with the patterns of the ink in water on them, therefore, giving the sense of a 2D image. While doing these experiments I have been looking at Barry McGee's Untitled (Bottles). I am continuing to develop upon this experiment and make a collection and a film."

experimenting

I have to admit, I had to take several photos before I got a good one where my dog, Dolly, wasn't moving. I think it turned out well.

Old van dumped in a field in the Lot France - an idea for a video / clip wall - log of walks in the Lot France - putting photos together in sequence.

I was experimenting with slow shutter speeds to capture motion blur on passing people. However, this picture was severely over-exposed so I tried to rescue it in Photoshop and Topaz labs.

The result is a complete failure, but I kind of like it!

Not sure what I was trying to accomplish here but I kind of liked the result. The original was dark and kind of blurry.

what else does a girl do while she's waiting for breakfast?

Shadows of a simpler arrangement that I put together on purpose.

Tent set up to trap insects and detect the direction in which they are flying. Unfortunately, it was erected right at the site of Corallorhiza striata, STRIPED CORALROOT, a member of the Orchid family. Two stems can be seen near the base of the front tent pole. Another is behind and to the right, on the other side of the tent. Near junction of trails 8 and 14.
