A photoshop experiment where I was just open-ended with the direction and then it kind of took shape into this Instagram looking thing...oh well.
Experimenting with my camera and what sort of shots i can get. Really trying to get the perfect photo with my limited experience
Experimenting a bit with the headshot, didn't quite get the desired look, but the photo still came out quite well.

Our Mycelium team has found a new endeavor these days: we are experimenting with beer brewing and mycelium growing techniques to brew beer and grow mycelium on panels all at once.

Tiny little lenses that fit on an iPhone ...and that are fun to play with!! :)
Being the gadget addict I am , I bought a set of these three lenses ..and today tried them out. The macro is featured, with one fish eye .
Interesting , but fastening and fine tuning is very fiddly for fat fingers :D
Chris had applied latex over my lips, not knowing what to expect. When I opened my mouth...well...he learned that perhaps I should keep my mouth open a bit when he's working on the lips
Experiment: cropping photos in a triangle, with a duotone which in my opinion matches the setting and composition of the photo.
For my next step in this experiment I'd like to make prints, cut out the triangle, and glue them to foamboard.
Latex experiment also representing skin and peoples imperfections using stitching to represent someone that wants to be fix.
I experimented with making bolts from the Bolt Factory to get better results. The one second left is pretty good.
From left to right these are:
1. I applied a subsurface modifier to a bolt with flat shading. The head isn't completely flat on top.
2. I removed the head and applied the subsurface modifier to the head and the thread separately. I then added edge loops to the head and moved them to resharpen the edges. I then joined the head and thread back together. This is the best of the lot.
3. I added the subsurface modifier to the bolt in one go and then added edge loops and moved them to resharpen the edges. Because of the way the bolt is made, the head is deformed and there is a seam running vertically down the thread.
4. This doesn't have any modifiers applied but uses smooth shading. I didn't take the head off this one and didn't add the extra edge loops.
From other experiments which aren't shown here I have found that if you don't work on the head separately from the thread you will either get a head that looks wrong or else you will have problems with the thread.
