Once again having one of 'those' days and messing with photoshop. End result. Not entirely happy with it but not sure why.

Catching up on my inspiration.
Experimenting with more color after having committed to black and white for the last year.
Have been inspired by Eggleston, Mary E. Mark, Helen Levitt, Winogrand, and Joel Sternfield
Doing my best to make photos of anything moving, interesting, banal, or otherwise.
Tonight was a night for experimenting with sparkler writing. I then went to Flickr Toys and put them in a mosaic. In the middle you see the sparklers prior to being used. We wanted to get USA and did but obviously we need a whole lot more practice. We tried circles and stars and then just took some shots of the fireworks. Thanks to my daughter Laura for being such a good sport and helping me learn. I will return to this- it was fun!

Some photos from a place you might already recognize, as there're many photos of it here. This time I tried to make something different out of the familiar views. After all, this is a landscape that probably is not scenic this time of the year. At least not for me, not in the usual sense. But of course there's a certain mood -- which might be something that comes out of myself, but I'm sure not without some stimulus, outside, it is really there, somehow. Can it be pictured? Can it be conveyed? How can you depict the actual first impression?
On a technical note: All done with old 50mm f/1.7 lens, all wide open, I used a Kenko nostaltone blue for diffusion and color shift. „Enhanced" in LR & PS.
I was asked to make a Bourbon & Bacon ice cream for a friend. This is the result:
Butterscotch Bourbon Ice Cream with Butter Toffee chips and Bacon.
The ice cream is super soft because of the Markers Mark, but if I do say so myself, omg it's good.
Have no orders for a couple of weeks so thought i'd do some experimenting and need to try things out!!!
These were my 1st attemt at a 'dome' cupcake, not particularly happy with the outcome but am hoping i can improve on them!!!
The design on these just sort of happened. I was trying to do them late last night but had a complete mind block!!! So tried again this morning and this is what happened! Quite like them but would change some things if i did them again.
NOT happy with the pics!!!!! Definately need to improve ALL aspects of my photography!!!
A little experiment in Photoshop.
A comment about the (poor I believe) realization would be greatly appreciated :)

this is an experiment with a photocopier for enlarging negatives, this is about the size of an a4 sheet, first is 4 x of 35mm neg, next is a4x enlargment of initial enlargment
then i scanned this into pc ctrl i, then black and whited it, was very very flat and light so made in darker and increased contrast which bought out the photo copy texture needs alot of work still but it was quickly done just to get it up
also the negs are a sneak peck...
