Waiting on PAB order, decided to mess around with some larger mechs. Not happy with the legs, but very pleased with the torso. Didn't have good bits for arms or legs -.-
Created with fd's Flickr Toys, yea yea I was bored, O, not that night , oo0o0o, no wasnt bored that night hehe...
Time to work on the Oriel Windows on the Second Floor. I've spent quite a lot of time noodling this one, wondering how I would make it work. I think I have hit upon an idea . (Actually, that would be my wife, but we'll not mention that!) Here is a clue. It involves mangling a lantern. We'll see how that works out!
An angry bee singlespeed hub with a 4of8 (14,16,18,21) cassette (if a uniglide threaded cog fit on this thing I could do a 5of8 with a little bit of machining to narrow the spacer part of the cog) which would give me a range of (46/26 chainrings) 85 ... 32 gear inches at approximately 10 inches/gear (and frantic shifting going from big-big to little-little and visa-versa.)
Now all I need to do is build a wheelset and a disco frame for it.

I am just starting to teach myself some Macro Photography. Guess what? Just like everything else about photography... it is not as easy as it looks! Nowhere near as easy as some people on Flickr would make it seam. This is actually a test of my 'Macro Studio" I built myself. I'll post a picture of that later I am sure, but basically its a large detergent box, cut open, with a large piece of white construction paper / poster paper taped to it with a large 'curve', to it, so there are no edges to be seen (notice, no edges you can see?). I got the idea watching some 'How to' macro videos on You Tube earlier. This is not a great image I know, but I LOVE anything colorful, and this is very special to me in that my experiment worked! This 'Macro Studio' was a complete success and I plan to use it frequently as I learn more about Macro shooting. I am certain to post a picture of this thing I built. It is so simple anyone can (and should) do it. I am going to bring home some black poster paper tomorrow for different shoots with different subjects...
Download Experiment HD & Widescreen 3D & Abstract Wallpaper from the above resolutions. If you don’t find the exact resolution you are looking for, then go for ‘Original’ or higher resolution which may fits perfect to your desktop.
Have no orders for a couple of weeks so thought i'd do some experimenting and need to try things out!!!
These were my 1st attemt at a 'dome' cupcake, not particularly happy with the outcome but am hoping i can improve on them!!!
The design on these just sort of happened. I was trying to do them late last night but had a complete mind block!!! So tried again this morning and this is what happened! Quite like them but would change some things if i did them again.
NOT happy with the pics!!!!! Definately need to improve ALL aspects of my photography!!!
Moody Experiment.
Some photos from a place you might already recognize, as there're many photos of it here. This time I tried to make something different out of the familiar views. After all, this is a landscape that probably is not scenic this time of the year. At least not for me, not in the usual sense. But of course there's a certain mood -- which might be something that comes out of myself, but I'm sure not without some stimulus, outside, it is really there, somehow. Can it be pictured? Can it be conveyed? How can you depict the actual first impression?
On a technical note: All done with old 50mm f/1.7 lens, all wide open, I used a Kenko nostaltone blue for diffusion and color shift. „Enhanced" in LR & PS.
From my unit 5 project, this was the beginning experiment with different animals; this comes from the 'Quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog' and the flea has developed from the word 'jumped'. I used different medias such as paint, watercolour, ink, pen and also using my typewriter over my drawings. This photo was taken of my A4 sketchbook.
Red and pinks aren't usually my color of choice, but I really like how this one turned out. Definitely my favorite of the experiments last night. I'll take what I learned from this one and expand on it with more layers and textures I think.
Trying so hard to get better at photoshop.
This picture isn't sharp, but I still like it, so I thought I would play around.
Davide experimenting while the ferry docks. I would pay a lot of money to know what the docking-guy was thinking at that moment...(Picture taken by のりちゃん, Nikon D-80)
