Tim Holtz distress inks wet on a slippery surface, then the page pressed on. More water squirted on. Acrylics dripped and some text stamped on. I like this :)
My former art teacher Charles Dickson back in the day with one of his works in progress. He used Ivory for the whites of the eyes and I believe he used Ebony and Amber for the iris and pupils... not certain.

I’m running more experiments today with Veronica 195-b.
She is re-docking at the TeleNexus Outreach Station.
Veronica is great to work with.
Smart, dependable, and even a little bit funny at times.
A good sense of humor.
The way the space station is designed, the staff are unable to occupy a module simultaneously.
It could affect the integrity of the experiments.
At least we have an audio / video feed.
It helps.
This way we don't feel completely isolated.

I came across this plan awhile back here. I don't even remember how I bumbled across that blog to begin with, but she's got some tres chic ideas.
I saw half of my students for the last time this year today. It's bittersweet...I know I'll have most of them next year (and over the summer). This year was unbelievable on a number of levels, and I'm hoping it's the start of something very, very good...
Experimental snow day! Given that we rarely see snow in London I thought I should get outside and see just how well this sparkly new white canvas works...
I had slightly loftier ambitions than some one level stencils but it turns out that stencilling on powdery snow is somewhat problematic. As is evidenced in the only two colour piece I attempted. It was pretty darn cold so after the disappointment of the blue one I decided discretion was the better part of valour and headed back inside to warm my frostbitten fingers. At least I've now done the research so you don't have to. I'm done with snow. Can we have summer now please?
Cheers
