This being the time of the year when the family gets together here in the USA for Thanksgiving and then in December when different religions throughout the world celebrate their special days I thought that I would do a family work celebrating my family both gone and present. It is quite interesting that my grandparents had 1 boy and four girls and we had 3 girls, 1 boy and 1 girl, not the same order, but the same number of sexes.
And once again I want to promote the importance of family, the support, solidarity, love, warmth and trust the family unit give us. I am blessed with a loving family and I hope that young people today know how important a family is and how vital it is to treasure and nurture it. Parenting is not an easy job and there is no preparation for it, but once you have made the decision to have a family please make sure that you do everything in your power to bring them up to love life, others whoever they might be, we all belong to humanity and we need to respect our differences not be judgmental. Have you ever had one of those days when someone was so rude and mean to you that you wanted to explode? You managed to control yourself, thanks to your upbringing, where you treat the people who are treating you badly with respect and calmness? Your mood starts with anger (happily not uncontrollable), then your brain goes into gear and you start cooling down, after which you try and rationalize the situation, which takes you into the calming down phase and finally to being able to accept what has happened and as you cool down you can even find a way at laughing at the whole ordeal? Well I had that situation today and it is quite fun to visualize it creatively, I hope that you enjoy my work and get a laugh out of it. Because laughter makes everything better!!!!
