Author Nancy Wright Beasley visited ENG 207: Representations of the Holocaust through Literature and Film e-term students on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Beasley is the author of the novel "The Little Lion," which the students read as part of their coursework. The program also featured professional actors, Patrick Marks and Patrick Kennerly, who performed scenes from Irene Ziegler’s play, “The Little Lion,” which is based on Beasley’s book. Introduction to Service Learning e-term students gained knowledge of the local community surrounding Ferrum College while engaging with and supporting local agencies, organizations, and families. Here students are working to help beautify campus.
