Students participate in a First Year Experience Strengths activity on the Drillfield. The exercise required students to practice teamwork, communication, and problem solving in order to complete their task.

Introduction to Service Learning e-term students gained knowledge of the local community surrounding Ferrum College while engaging with and supporting local agencies, organizations, and families. Students participated in a “What is Citizenship” group activity/discussion.

for 3 Days/2 Nights Outbound Training. Activities included were team games, rappelling, swimming, raft building, body surfing, obstacle course , cave treks , tent pitching, flying fox, air rifle shooting.

   

Author Nancy Wright Beasley visited ENG 207: Representations of the Holocaust through Literature and Film e-term students on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Beasley is the author of the novel "The Little Lion," which the students read as part of their coursework. The program also featured professional actors, Patrick Marks and Patrick Kennerly, who performed scenes from Irene Ziegler’s play, “The Little Lion,” which is based on Beasley’s book. Master the Skills of Meeting Management:

Conduct efficient and productive meetings by practicing the seven principles for running effective meetings. Learn how to overcome a variety of challenges including different personalities, varying perspectives, and conflicting information.
