Continuing the story of Star Wars Legends we move to the first book of the Darth Bane trilogy, Path of Destruction by Drew Karpyshyn, published in 2006. The highly detailed build by Alex shows part of the final Battle of Ruusan where the Sith Lords of Kaans Brotherhood of Darkness battle Jedi led by Master Hoth one final time. Ruusan was ravaged by years of war between jedi and the Sith at this point in time. Out of the chaos of this battle Darth Bane will rise victorious with every other Sith dead so he can reshape the Sith order to create the Rule of Two that ultimately ended up in Palpatine defeating the Jedi order and becoming emperor. Alex took the time to not just portray the battling Jedi and Sith, who rock cool light up lightsabers, but also gave us some of his amazing rockwork a nicely textured landing platform and showed off a great technique for trees.

This build was my part for the brickzlab star wars legends collaboration.

Grand Admiral Thrawn is sorely disappointed.

Two Shadow Troopers are piloting a prototype speeder during a high classified mission.

This is little MOC I made some time ago combining the content of two Shadow Troopers battle packs (set 75079) plus few more parts to ensure the "structural integrity" and add few more details :)

If you want to give a closer look at the MOC I posted the photos from various angles on my blog here:

brickseven.blogspot.it/2015/06/la-iv.html

I don't want to "flood" lol my Photostream (and my followers, groups etc) with "schematic photos" (you know those photos from any angle to show the MOC details :) ) so if you are interested you can find them in the link above :)

Comments and feedback always appreciated :)

This was my first ever MOC after a more than ten years absence from the Lego hobby and I had very few parts available.

Anyway I hope you like :)

May the Brick be with You :)

Challenge: name these two characters from the Star Wars Expanded Universe (I still refuse to call it Legends). Anyone recognize them?

This was quite the challenge to make something so small have any detail whatsoever. Even then they are way too big out of scale with the Nova-class

When Lord Vader chose our unit to eradicate the mandelorian headquarters on Krownest I was apprehensive. I'd heared so much about these almost mythical warriors...

Something just told me that it wouldn't be a glorious "in and out" operation that TX-5523 kept raving about...

"Stormtroopers are the knife's edge. We are the first to go in. We face the enemy where they are strongest. We do not stop until we have achieved our objective. The Imperial Army walks in the path we blaze." - TX-5523

Honestly I hate these old custom figures but I couldn't resist not taking a picture in the snow... - Svidri

This ship is bio-tech ship made by the Yuuzhan Vong. Mainly used during the Yuuzhan Vong War/Invasion (New Jedi Order era) these living ships would be crewed by a single pilot using a hood to share minds with the creature/ship. It eats rocks and spits magma-like projectiles. It was propelled and shielded by a small heart-like Dovin basal.

Thrawn is one of my favorite Star Wars characters of all time.

Hey I was wondering what do you guys think of the blaster bolts in this shot? I'm kind of up in the air about them. I like the blaster bolts but something just looks off. I'm not sure what looks funny.

I'm a massive fan of the Star Wars Expanded Universe and NJO novel series in particular. They hold the most amazing SW stories ever told and show how the legacy of Luke Skywalker can be written in a perfect way. The Jedi you see are from the left: Tekli, Cilghal, Leia Organa Solo, Saba Sebatyne, Mara Jade Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Jacen Solo, Jaina Solo, Kyle Katarn, Anakin Solo and Kyp Durron.
