It's obvious my little ultra-compact camera doesn't cut it :)
Not like William's amazing lunar eclipse photos.

Federation Hut, rebuilt in 2005. It bears more than a passing resemblance to the Federation Hut of the 1960's

At last, I was able to open my Casion Exilim Pro EX p5-5 mini SLR camera and add an external microphone. Of the four microphone wires, one snapped. Since I only wanted mono, I though that this would be sufficient and I am able to record mono. But...for that reason or some other there is a high pitched whine, which may make the camera as difficult to use as the MiniDVD video camera which I have.
I may open it up and see whether adding a mike or a mike sized resitor in place of the other microphone will remove the whine.
Notice that all 4 have SLR-type cameras! They were posing and taking photos before I had the chance to get my camera out.
I love the curvy courtyard too.

I stitched 5 photos together using autostitch.
Not bad eh?
