I've never seen a damselfly do this before. Quite amazing.

Bit of a failed shot as it was a grab the camera only to loose the first shot as it was still on the 2 second timer from some previous tripod work . Sorted that only to carry on shooting ( from indoors ) and the iso was left on 200 and on a dark and grimzle day this shot was near black on the screen . Managed to raise it to this as I thought the pose was worth keeping if I could ,

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is the coastal defense and maritime law enforcement branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of the country's seven uniformed services. The Coast Guard is a maritime, military, multi-mission service unique among the U.S. military branches for having a maritime law enforcement mission (with jurisdiction in both domestic and international waters) and a federal regulatory agency mission as part of its mission set.
