I haven't been out for photos since my hip replacement surgery early this month, but I wanted to stop by to wish a warm holiday season to all, and a very Merry Christmas to those who are celebrating this week. This shot was taken a couple of years ago in the historic village of Long Grove, Illinois.

I am definitely on the mend following the surgery. I'm walking well without a cane now, and continuing my post operative exercises in a vigorous fashion. I'll likely be off and on Flickr for a while yet during the holiday season, but I'm planning to be back on a more routine basis again soon.

one of the exercises while in hospital. got a new knee yesterday 😣

We went to the park early in the morning, and there were people that were exercising. I wanted to just take a picture of them, but my dad told me to go join them... I jumped in long enough for him to snap the shot.

A 'red status' bird, sadly.

I've never seen a damselfly do this before. Quite amazing.

It was a beautiful morning as the sun was just clearing the trees. The resident family of nine juvies appeared to be enjoying the building warmth as much as the photographer!

Nothing like a few pull-ups to get you going in the morning - as long as you eat as you exercise !!

Bit of a failed shot as it was a grab the camera only to loose the first shot as it was still on the 2 second timer from some previous tripod work . Sorted that only to carry on shooting ( from indoors ) and the iso was left on 200 and on a dark and grimzle day this shot was near black on the screen . Managed to raise it to this as I thought the pose was worth keeping if I could ,

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I just like how these look like they're exercising. Although the Dove on the top is obviously having 40 winks. 😉

Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites.
