The Torture Museum is a private museum located in Santillana del Mar, Cantabria , which contains more than fifty original instruments of torture and capital punishment from Europe from the 15th to the 19th centuries. It is a type of historical museum that is widespread in Spain due to the long-standing presence of the Inquisition.
It is considered one of the most unusual museums in Spain, and also one of the tourist sites of the Cantabrian municipality.
