Crocodiles creep me out. Here is a West African Dwarf Crocodile as seen at the Minnesota Zoo, being very still, and very creepy.

Another impromptu photo opt at the Evolve music festival. Out of no where these guys pulled out a bunch of Chinese lanterns and started launching them. I like the arraignment of the lanterns in frame immediately and I just waited for one of them to release the lantern. This is one of my all time favorite photographs. Visually I find it interesting, but I also like the metaphor it suggests. To me it's about freedom and reaching your potential.
