365 Days in Colour - 28/31 yellow. At the Musee Cantonal de Zoologie there was a nice display discussing Dawin & evolution. It would probably be even more interesting if I could read French fluently. As it is I can muddle thru every 5th word or so. Wonder how long it would take to become fluent if I had to move here??
Evolution - Let there be Light. Licht, veel licht was er zeker! Wat een mooie licht- en lasershow. Dat maakt het werk voor partyfotografen leuk en uitdagend :) Behalve mooi licht, werd er ook nog eens top gedraaid. Held van de avond voor mij was toch zeker wel Markus Schulz. Het was voor mij wel even wennen de weg die Tiesto in slaat. Je kunt het mooi vinden of niet, hij blijft zichzelf vernieuwen. Dat was aan de set bij Evolution ook goed te horen. En dat is zeker knap als je al zolang meegaat als Tijs. Al met al een topweekend, met eerst Reloaded..... Dance into the Future en daarna Evolution - Let there be Light. Thx. Radio 538 voor de uitstekende organisatie. Hopelijk krijgt dit initiatief een vervolg volgend jaar.

The Fancy Brigade Division is one of the newest Divisions added to the Mummers Parade. Their origins began as groups that marched amongst the Fancy Division. It wasn't until 1978 when the Fancy Brigades emerged as their own division.
The Fancy Brigades are noted for their elaborate props, precision drilling and broadway-style choreography to present a four and a half minute production that is anything but amateur. Today's Fancy Brigade productions are influenced by high-level Broadway staging, props and choreography. These modern influences add a new level of showmanship that has allowed the Fancy Brigades to evolve their performances into the entertaining mini-musicals that define the division today.
