Wow, long time no see. Im so sorry for disappearing. I think i just kind of burnt out. School has been crazy and it just kinda sucked the creativity right outta me. The 52 week project is dead, obviously. Lol. This is a photo i took for my art class. Its really different to my usual stuff, as it had to be inspired by Petrina Hicks. But, hey, im not against experimenting. I will try to upload more regularly, but im not making any promises.
Only one more year and then i get my life back.

When I went out earlier in March I could only find empty shells, now they are occupied and playful

"rambut" in malay means hair
so therefore.. "rambutan" means hairy fruit! hahaha ;)
the colour changes from green, yellowish green, yellow, bright yellow, red, and bright red.. but it'll turn completely red and sweet in the middle of august..so sad.. i can't eat them.
i took them with me when i went to my "kampung"/village/countryside last week.

Beauty and the beast. And the beauty is named Gwen of ears or Gwen with ears depending on your mood. Somehow I was able to get the little cotton candy ball to bark :)
It's hardly scientific, but I did take a lot of pictures over my evolution period.
I decided, after a disussion with a friend back in October, to let the beard grow longer than I had before, in the hope it would straighten out and behave, and look rugged and nice and so on (it settled on chaotic and pubic, but some people loved it).
You can chart the point at which I give up on trying to tame the beard and become distracted by the potential of the moustache - and the early attempts to get a wax and technique that worked for me!
I trimmed the beard right back last night, for a change. The long beard experiment is over, but it was documented along the way, and it's final hours were captured by a photographer infinitely more skilled than I.

The Ferrari F355 is a sports car built by Ferrari from May 1994 to 1999. It is an evolution of the Ferrari 348 and was replaced by the Ferrari 360. It is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive V8-powered two-seat coupe, targa, or convertible. Design emphasis for the F355 was placed on significantly improved performance, as well as drivability across a wider range of speeds and in different environments (such a low-speed city traffic.)

Queen Square is a 2.4 hectares (5.9 acres) garden square in the centre of Bristol, England. It was originally a fashionable residential address, but now most of the buildings are in office use.
The site on which the Square was built lay outside Bristol's city walls and was known as the Town Marsh. The Square was planned in 1699 and building finished in 1727. It was named in honour of Queen Anne. The north side and much of the west were destroyed in the Bristol Riots of 1831 and rebuilt. Many of the buildings now have listed building status.
In 1937 the Inner Circuit Road was driven diagonally across the Square but in 2000 it was removed and the open space restored.

The Alpine A610 was the last model produced by the Normandy-based manufacturer before it went into hibernation in 1994, only to be revived a few years ago thanks to the determination of Carlos Tavares. A highly accomplished car, it was a powerful, fast and comfortable GT, but came with a hefty price tag. Faced with falling sales in mid-1993, the idea arose in Dieppe to replicate the commercial success of the A310 GT pack and the V6 turbo ‘Le Mans’, whose flared wings and very wide rims had appealed to customers.
In the autumn of 1993, Berex in Dieppe (the design and exploratory research office) studied a version of the A610 fitted with the wider wings of the ‘Le Mans’ model.
This version was to be fitted with attractive 8- and 10-inch-wide Gotti rims, and the power of the 250 hp V6 Turbo engine was increased to 280 hp through a slight increase in boost pressure, a different ECU chip and a new wastegate. Torque increased significantly, from 35.7 to 43 m.kg Din at 2900 rpm, giving the 3-litre V6 a more violent and aggressive character.

Dieppe manufactured its first 610 Evolution Le Mans in Ottoman Green number 592, which is the car presented here. A second was assembled shortly afterwards and, in a more traditional style for a Dieppe car, was painted in pearlescent electric blue number 543.
Both cars were then individually tested at the ‘mines’ and given the type designation D50305A, as the ‘Le Mans’ turbo V6s were D50205A. The Dieppe factory recently confirmed that there were indeed only two A610s of the ‘Le Mans’ evolution model.
Due to the cost of series homologation and the question of the gearbox's resistance to such power in severe use, Renault decided not to proceed. Production of the 610 ceased in 1994 after 818 units had been manufactured. It was not until 2018 that real Alpines were seen again coming out of the Avenue de Bréauté factory, which is scheduled to close in June 2026.
The blue A610 ‘Le Mans’ was the official car of Jacques Martin, managing director of the Dieppe factory from 1985 to 1998. It is still in Normandy at Alpine.
The second 610 Le Mans in Ottoman green is offered here, equipped according to its quality control sheet with an Espace radio system and prototype grey leather seats in a black interior identical to the limited edition ‘Magny Cours’. This is the most powerful road-going Alpine produced in the tradition of Jean Rédélé (beam chassis and polyester body), with only two examples ever made. It has only 42,466 kilometres on the clock and runs well but will require a complete overhaul. It started up without difficulty in front of us and idled perfectly, but the rear brake calipers need to be refurbished as they were found to be slightly out of balance during the technical inspection.
A particularly exclusive model, this 610 Evo is in near-new condition. It is a beautiful, powerful and fast GT car with a classy and discreet appearance. Due to its extreme rarity, it is particularly desirable for enthusiasts of the 1973 World Rally Champion brand.
It is a fine example of the quality of manufacturing and enthusiastic determination that could be produced by French industry and workers in 1994, in a different century.
Saw these two there together and thought it would do for a nice "evolutive" picture, specially since both are pretty much the same color.
If this Sebring is the one I am thinking about then it used to wear chromed hubcaps which has kept losing one by one, it's registered in 2001.
The Stratus on the other hand was quite dirty and accumulated a lot of dust in both the body and the wheels, perhaps not moved from there for a long time now. Its front plate was damaged so I cannot see the letters propertly but I'm guessing it's BZW therefre registered in 2002 (is it too new for the car? wiki says this generation ended production in 2000. But perhaps it lasted a bit longer here?).
