This is a sneak preview to get everyone excited for a bunch of new photos! We had the shoot on Sunday and I will (hopefully) have everything edited by Saturday evening! Just to let you know, I am super excited, this was a first for me. Enjoy the rest of your week!

I did my first wedding on Halloween 2009 for good friends of mine. Everything went pretty smoothly for being the first time, but it was exhausting. I am still in recovery hehe. I finally have everything edited and ready to show. I had a lot of help from my friend Chris and his wife Melissa, who also took pictures (I don't think I am claiming any of these as mine that are hers - she had plenty of good ones though). I am really glad I got the opportunity. It was a lot of fun.

If you are a professional or have experience with shooting weddings, and you have constructive criticism for me - please leave it! Thanks!

I photographed the original wall hanging in June 2021 at the Cove Creek Ranch Fort Museum in Utah. For this texturized version, I used Lightroom Mobile, DistressedFX Plus, and Formulas apps. #lightroommobile #distressedfx #formulasapp #alteredreality #ethereal_moods #editfromthesoul #everything_edited #artistry_flair #textured #masters_in_artistry #dailytextures #covefortutah

Tried the Orton effect for the first time. Very cool! Makes everything look smooth and dreamy with a painting quality.

This may not actually be a "firebush" but that's what we always called them. The real firebush is a tropical shrub. In any case, it just occurred to my how rare this photo is. The "red bush" in Pennsylvania has typically lost its leaves long before the first snow. This year we had a very VERY warm fall and then a quick cold snap with some early November snow. Timing is everything.

Edit: I did the research. It's Euonymus alatus - "Burning Bush"
